About Us

The Funky Monkey Studio has evolved organically over the years, bringing new and emerging fitness classes to the good people of Bath.

Here at Funky Monkey, you’ll be joining a vibrant and diverse community, we offer a wide range of fun classes. There are many opportunities for you to develop on many levels. We also deliver visually stunning showcases, providing both new and experienced students with a platform to perform.

We have all come away inspired but seemingly much better at hooping without the hoop as our vortexing and lassoing around the kitchen island later that evening demonstrated! Absolutely loved my hen do afternoon at Funky Monkey learning the ropes on the Aerial silks! You made it look SO easy! Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a group activity for a hen do or simply to increase fitness. I couldn't move my arms for days!

Party & Classes F.A.Q

  • That's not a problem at all. We cater all our parties to make sure you are happy on the day. This will mean trying to match the skill level of party members to each activity.
    Unfortunately, all pregnant participants are welcome to watch but would be unable to participate in the activities.

  • Alice Milner (Owner) has worked in the fitness industry all her adult life and still loves it with a passion. Starting out as a lifeguard in London, she progressed swimming teacher and aerobics instructor in the prestigious Broadgate Club. Now firmly established in Bath as an Ashtanga Yoga and Pole Dance specialist, she continuously develops her personal practice, always keen to try new things. Her most recent additions being Aerial Arts; including Silks (Tissu), Static Trapeze and Aerial Hoop (Lyra).
